As a Sr Project Coordinator, you should have expert time management and communication skills as you will collaborate with vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. Your main responsibilities will be to coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information, break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes, liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management. Youll also ensure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve, help prepare budgets, analyze risks and opportunities, monitor project progress and address issues that arise via proper communication and escalation. Additionally, you will act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders, work with the Program Manager to remove road blocks, use tools to monitor and control performance, plans and expenditures and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and status reports.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Responsibilities:
Liaise for Program Managers and clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives that align with organizational goals
Coordinate with internal and external resources, ensuring that projects remain within scope, on schedule, and within budget
Evaluate potential program risks and opportunities at the tactical level while providing leadership mitigation coarse of action (COAs) to make informed decisions
Conduct cross-functional meetings to review Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) instrumental in the execution of scope
Contributes to the maintenance and updating of internal process documentation
Assists in developing and maintaining project management best practices
Identifies and recommends process improvements
Must-haves:
Bachelors degree in a related field of study and typically 10 years of relevant experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Fundamental MS Office Skills
Ability to manage time effectively
Demonstrated ownership of tasks, organization skills and attention to detail
Possess strong communication and client-facing, teamwork skills
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance
Preferred:
Experience in development of proposals to include administrative tasks as assigned
Data entry into PM Systems
Conflict resolution especially those related to resource assignments
Agility and responsiveness in a fast paced environment
Familiarity with program execution • Results driven regardless the task.
