What You Will Do

This position requires a highly motivated, self-reliant, and focused individual that can perform a wide range of administrative functions under minimal direction. The selected candidate will contribute to the overall success of the Military Engines organization by providing multi-dimensional complex administrative support to directors and executive level managers. This position requires sound decision-making, problem-solving skills and discretionary judgment. You will perform administrative and clerical tasks with a high attention to detail. Also, managing calendars while ensuring that scheduled meetings include detailed agendas, and that all necessary logistics are accommodated (i.e. meeting locations are appropriate for equipment needs). You will partner with other Military Engines Leadership and their assistants to establish clear communication and coverage.

  • Screen/field incoming scheduling requests and effectively manage incoming and outgoing communications in an efficient and confidential manner.

  • Provide timely responses, as well as direct items to appropriate individuals for action and/or informational purposes for the program’s director and executive director

  • Manage executive calendars/schedules and provide advance notice on important meetings to support appropriate preparation

  • Work with executives managing confidential information and material on a regular basis

  • Managing supplies for the department, ordering and organizing as necessary

  • Processing and tracking of invoices, as well as coordinating any moves into and out of the area and submit required "move" paperwork.

  • Plan and arrange domestic and international travel and processing and submitting expense reports in a timely manner • Arranging catering for internal and external meetings

  • Formatting of presentations and materials for various reviews; Create Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents as required • Supporting ACE Team/Activities

  • Developing Standard Work where applicable

  • Supporting special projects, fighter and mobility program managers, assignments, and other functions as required

Qualifications You Must Have

  • AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training).

  • 6 years’ experience providing administrative support, including the support to senior leaders or executives.

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), attention to detail, and the ability to interact effectively across all levels of a large, complex organization

  • Ability to take direction, respond to changing priorities, and juggle multiple priorities concurrently

  • Proficient computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines/schedules and work independently with minimal direction for completing tasks Must be a team player and have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Proficient Calendar Management experience for multiple senior leaders

  • Experience working US Government a plus

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
