Job Description SummaryThe Staff Infrastructure Architect will work on projects for components of the domain as well as multiple technical or functional domains. They will own a fleet of on-premises and cloud databases, as well as set the strategy and roadmap.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
- Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
- Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
- Participate in the infrastructure architecture governance model.
- Support design and deployment of infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, regulatory compliance and application system qualities, for different businesses.
- Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
- Coach and mentor team members
- Managing, monitoring and maintaining databases
- Making requested changes, updates and modifications to database structure and data
- Ensuring database security, integrity, stability and system availability
- Maintaining database backup and recovery infrastructure
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
