We invite applications for a Strategic Planning Analyst based at our Kintore premises (Aberdeen).
Reporting to the Global Planning Manager, the Strategic Planning Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring and analysing inventory levels, identifying trends and making recommendations to optimise inventory management.
- Understand OEM contracts and carry out analysis based upon KPIs, incentives, and agreements between parties, to ensure both Bristow and OEM are complying with contractual stipulations.
- Work closely with maintenance & fleet engineering teams to ensure any aircraft movement, extensions, heavy maintenance activity is captured within our planning, and work strategically to incorporate different tasks in to one work scope where logical.
- Cost Comparison analysis as required or requested
- Assist with special projects (System migrations, process harmonization, etc)
- Completing the model and regional specific Direct Maintenance Cost (DMC) and escalation tables used during tender analysis protocols
- Ensuring ownership of material is kept correct in ERP System
- Work closely with the purchasing teams in regards to forecasted requirements, ensuring we highlight any shortages as early as possible to the maintenance teams, and work on an alternative plan.
- Understand and evaluate OEM IPLs for new fleets entering the business and suggest inventory purchase based upon evaluation.
- Work closely with OEMs analysing unscheduled parts usage, and suggesting inventory holdings within both Bristow and the OEM. Developing KPIs to be able to track performance of this.
- Maintaining and executing material consignment agreements – ensuring they are up to date with the correct parts for our needs, and monitoring the vendors performance in filling them.
- Work closely with the repairs team in identifying TATs which don’t meet our forecasted requirements and suggesting additional inventory purchases where logical.
- Work closely with CAMO, Maintenance Orgs, and Supply Teams to identify obsolete material and make cost effective decisions on whether material can be upgraded, disposed of, or sold.
- Ensuring ERP system is kept up to date with the relevant fleet types.
- Analysing priority orders and cannibalisations of parts and execute any corrective action, within reason, to reduce downtime of aircraft (i.e. inventory purchases, working with OEM to ensure they have in country)
- Assist in the ERP system changes including the movement of material from system to system.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: (minimum education requirements, key skills and experience)
Qualifications:
- Good standard of education or equivalent material planning and inventory experience.
Experience:
- Very strong understanding of material planning and inventory.
- Strong understanding of supply chain elements of contracts.
- Experience of managing Key Performance Indicators internally and externally.
- Experience of creating data visualisations.
- Advanced computer/software skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Data visualization software experience (i.e. Power BI) beneficial.
- Experienced in data analysis pertaining to maintenance and/or inventory, and making predictions and inferences from the data set.
