Position Summary
Works with internal and external customers to coordinate transportation management activitiesas well as inventory control for production and sales within our plants. Supports internalcustomers with daily customer relations, projects, data management and reporting. SupportsProcurement in follow-up and expediting activities which includes obtaining Purchase OrderAcknowledgements, tracking material returned for rework and purchase order close outactivities.
Responsibilities
Run follow-up reports in open POs2. Analyze Metrics for on-time/late supplier deliveries3. Analyze, compile and distribute follow-up data to suppliers4. Manages Vendor rating KPIs5. Follow-up on late material6. Expedite material to meet all required Program need dates7. Collect necessary POD documents to input delivery receipt requests including dropshipments8. Assist in processing NCMRs (Non-conforming Material Returns)9. Prepare and manage all new supplier add/change requests in a timely manner10. Assist in Invoice discrepancy resolution
1. Work with suppliers to monitor and ensure deliveries schedules are met2. Attend follow-up meetings to review open orders with management and improve deliveries, prioritizing Key Customers needs3.Manages inventory controlling to make sure material receipts match with open POs4. Analyze Metrics for on-time/late supplier deliveries to achieve corporate goals5. Manages Vendor Rating KPIs and interacts with low performing suppliers to create correctiveaction plans6. Follow-up on late material to update Purchase Orders with accurate dates7. Assists in Purchase Order Close Out Activities8. Interacts with procurement/planning to make sure Mfg and Sales needs are met9. Negotiates rebates and payment terms with suppliers to facilitate WADPO and DeflationPlan achievement11. Ensures delivery disputes with suppliers are promptly resolved12. Negotiates rebates and payment terms with suppliers
May change transportation method for incoming shipments from suppliers within set limits-May amend POs within set limits- May change purchasing prices within set limits- Approval of line Manager needed beyond set limits
Qualifications
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.)2. Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in inventory controlling or supply chain environments3. JDE experience in MPR/DRP / Supplier / Purchase Pricing Management4.
