Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our Supply Chain Operations team in Salt Lake City, Utah

 

The Supply Chain Management Analyst work includes standard supply chain management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. This is a motivated team that works together to solve complicated supply chain problems and enable successful production. You will contribute as a team member alongside subject matter experts in the field of supply chain, inventory management and expedite to deliver solutions that help The Boeing Company deliver safe, better and more efficient airplanes and products. 

 

In this role you will be working with a great team of Supply Chain Management Analysts (SCMA) that purchase raw materials, supplier parts and releasing of production orders while ensuring adherence to program schedule, organizational compliance with inventory management policies and contractual requirements. The team also develops process and efficiency improvements. 

 

Position Responsibilities:    

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.  

  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.  

  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers.  

  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.  

  • Coordinates part number attributes.  

  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.  

  • Releases and maintains orders.  

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies and reports schedule adherence issues.  

  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.  

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.  

  • Creates schedules for products and services.  

  • Coordinates and supports process improvements.  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to emergent needs. 

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills Experience):   

  • 2+ years of experience supporting operations, materials management and/or supply chain functions in a production environment 

  • 2+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products) 

  • 2+ years of experience scheduling and ordering inventory/supplies 

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills Experience): 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree 

  • 2+ years of Supply Chain experience in Aerospace, Defense, Manufacturing, or similar industry

Summary pay range (Level 2): $70,550 - $95,450
