SUMMARY: Develop and instruct regulatory training courses and train ST Aerospace Mobile employees in all aspects of aircraft maintenance.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and validate lesson plans as needed.

2. Assure that all training courses are designed to produce maximum effectiveness, efficiency, improved quality, and increased production for the trainee.

3. Evaluate existing lesson plans for accuracy and pertinence to the trades as needed.

4. Develop supplemental materials to include demonstrations, mock-ups, Power Point presentations, and student handouts.

5. Write and validate all testing materials including written tests and performance tests pertaining to courses taught.

6. Maintain current records and role sheets for all courses taught.

7. Ensure that all course completions are entered in the training record (computer record and paper record) for each trainee.

8. Coordinate with the Directors of Maintenance, Quality, and respective Departmental Heads for training requests and acceptable start dates and times for all courses to be taught.

9. Present new employee orientation classes as required.

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Good working knowledge or the ability to acquire the skills to communicate, both orally and in writing, by presenting ideas and giving instructions and guidance to employees or trainees in such a manner that training instructions are understood clearly.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Climate controlled office / classroom environment, but not limited to this environment.

 

SUPERVISION:

The incumbent normally performs the duty assignment under the discretion of the Lead Technical Training Adminstrator/Instructor.

 

 

INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS:

A strong level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain an effective relationship

among employees, various departments, management and the public
