POSITION PURPOSE

Implements, administers, and supports Republic Airways approved Training Management System

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Serves as the designated Training Management System Administrator for Flight Training. Vets and manages new software releases. Provides system maintenance and updates to training activities within the TMS. Assists in the roll out of new training policies and curriculum changes. Responsible for building electronic training grading forms. Monitors and supports the various integrations into and out of the Training Management System Manages the TMS ticketing system, to include troubleshooting technical issues, submitting tickets, following up with the vendor, and testing proposed solutions. Documents all current and future processes in relation to the Training Management System Provides technical training and support to Flight Training Department staff. Works with appropriate departments to define performance problems, designs action plans, and implements solutions. Develops process improvements for Flight Training user groups in the Training Management System Responsible for system adherence to policy and procedures documented within the AQP manuals in addition to any applicable regulatory requirements. Manages multiple training development projects of high complexity. Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Three years of relevant experience administrating a learning management system
  • Demonstrated ability to research, propose, design, implement, own, document, support, and operate tools/frameworks/software needed to successfully maintain the Training Management System
  • Extensive Microsoft 365 suite experience
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and direct people.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience with Fox Qualtero Training Management System
  • Experience with CFR 121 Airline Training program operations
  • Experience in an Advanced Qualification Program

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, training manuals, company publications, union contracts, and memos
  • Ability to write correspondence – mainly through electronic communication – in a professional manner with cohesion and clarity
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to other associates of the organization as well as communicate effectively to understand problems and enact solutions

REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to determine best methods to solve problems by referring to company manuals, labor contract language, precedents, and policies.

  • Makes decisions to support strategic directives.
