RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Aircraft Technician is responsible for conduction all servicing and maintenance tasks.
u2022 In your role, you will:
u2022 Inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft avionics systems;
u2022 Remove and replace line replaceable units and components;
u2022 Specialty work in maintenance shops as required;
u2022 Interpret technical publications and diagrams;
u2022 Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties;
u2022 Order aircraft spare parts and materials;
u2022 Conduct flight line servicing operations;
u2022 Debrief Team Lead as required;
u2022 Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups;
u2022 Fill position of Desk controller
o Education
Formal technical training in avionics systems
o
o Experience as an Avionics Technician providing in-depth knowledge of avionics systems
o Experience in 1st and 2nd line maintenance activities
o Experience in life cycle support activities considered an asset
o Other required training or skills
o Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Proven experience as a team player,
Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices.
Candidate must successfully pass a security evaluation per the requirements of the Controlled Goods Directorate of Canada and to CAE being able to obtain all necessary re-transfer authorization in compliance with US ITAR regulations.
