Experienced Motivated Leader in General Aviation Wanted!

An expanding Part 145 General Aviation Repair Station is looking for an experienced Avionics Manager to join their company.  The position will require the applicant to perform and oversee installations, maintenances, inspections, and troubleshooting of General Aviation aircraft.  The position requires someone who is not only self-motivated, but someone who can organize and plan the workload of others and motivate them to complete jobs in a safe fashion within regulatory conformance.  

• 3 Years Prior Avionics Experience is required.  Including Installations, Diagnosing, IFR Certifications.
• A&P License is a benefit but not required
• Management Experience leading a team is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting safety best practices.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve bending, stooping, and lifting heavy equipment.
• Prior Repairman Certificate at a Repair Station a Benefit.
• Some Cross Over between Maintenance/Avionics.
• The ability to work in tight spaces is required.
• Live in the San Angelo, TX area.
• Have their own basic tools.
• Must have a current Driver's License
• The company is looking for a person who have the ability to take on this position and lead a team of technicians and know the FAA regulations.  The wages will be based on their experience with General Aviation Avionics, experiences leading teams, past experience in trouble shooting issues, ability to manage the department, and other company management requirements and experience.
