Summary:
Entry-level position assisting in the installation, modification, and testing of avionics/electrical components.
Involves wiring harness fabrication, electrical terminations, and functional testing under supervision.
Adhere to safety, tool control, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma or GED.
General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Ability to use a multimeter.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer and software proficiency.
Desired Skills:
Six months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.
Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or completion of youth apprenticeship program (preferred).
Experience with shop equipment maintenance.
Familiarity with safety programs like FOD and 5S.
