We are seeking an experienced Part 145 Repair station Avionics Manager with strong sales experience to join our dynamic team and help drive our growth.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day Part 145 Repair station operations of the avionics department, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
  • Lead a team of avionics technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to drive avionics sales.
  • Work to identify sales opportunities, develop proposals, and close sales.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of avionics systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to ensure competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate to create targeted campaigns for avionics products and services.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting for the avionics department.
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in avionics management and a strong understanding of avionics systems.
  • Minimum of 5 - 10 years of sales experience, avionics installations, programming, and management, preferably in the general aviation industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members during the installation and maintenance process.
  • Solid understanding of aviation industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations and avionics systems.
