Job Title: Avionics Technician (GSO)Job Description
The Avionics Technician will perform operational checks, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and electrical systems, as well as perform avionics modifications on a variety of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. This role involves heavy maintenance (C & D Checks) and overhauls.
Responsibilities
- Perform operational checks on avionics and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems.
- Conduct avionics modifications on Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
- Engage in heavy maintenance (C & D Checks) and overhauls.
Essential Skills- At least 2 years of experience in avionics installation and/or avionics troubleshooting in an MRO environment.
- Experience performing heavy maintenance and modifications.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing avionics systems.
- Experience with Boeing aircraft (B737, B757, B767, B777, B747) and Airbus aircraft (A319, A320, A321) is highly desirable.
- Extensive Depot Level or Phase Level Military experience with C-17, C-130, KC-135, KC-10 may also be considered.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with Wi-Fi installation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.

Work Environment
You will be working in a very large Heavy Maintenance / MRO Facility with multiple hangars. This role requires the use of steel toe shoes and personal tools. You must be shift flexible on either a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift and available to work some weekends. Shift timings are as follows: 1st shift 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 2nd shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and 3rd shift 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.
