Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
* Test, troubleshoot, remove, and replace aircraft instrument and avionics components and/or systems installed in various aircraft airframes using hand tools, ground support equipment, test equipment and technical documents;
* Work in concert with flight crews to perform After-flight troubleshooting and adjustments;
* Perform Preflight evaluations of avionics and instrument systems;
* Ensure the proper use of all equipment and full compliance and understanding of all safety rules and regulations;
* Ensure that all aircraft maintenance work, materials, and practices conform to FAA, customer, company, and manufacturers standards of quality;
* Perform battery service and support all line maintenance functions;
* Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Avionics Lead;
* Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an Avionics Line Maintenance Technician.
* FCC license required.
* Experience on B777 Gen Fam. Engine Run qualifications a plus.
* Working knowledge of avionics blueprint and schematics.
* Must be able to provide copies of training records.
