Michigan Aviation is seeking an experienced avionics technician or installer who understands the equipment on the bench and the avionics systems in the aircraft. Wiring, programming equipment, fabricating instrument panels/painting, removal of old equipment, and wiring for new equipment are skills we are seeking. Programming and computer hardware skills/aptitudes are desirable. We have decades of avionics experience and are expanding our avionics capabilities into a 20,000 SF hangar. We are a well-established MRO/FBO 145 Repair Station (KL2R956K) servicing Oakland County International Airport (KPTK) since 1957 with exceptional customers and aircraft. Relocation assistance is available. Michigan Aviation is a dealer for ALL major and nuanced avionics systems and manufacturers.
Work Scope:
We focus heavily on King Air, Cessna Citation 500 series, and all piston aircraft avionics and maintenance, including major inspections and repairs. Our business workflow is 60% jet and 40% piston. We are a Cessna High-Performance Single/Twin Engine Service Center and a Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza Service Center. Annual inspections and line maintenance of almost every major aircraft makes and model flying.
We are also a Williams International Service Center for FJ44 series engines.
You will be working with Technicians with 30+ years of experience at our Company.
Our reputation is built on having the tools, equipment, facilities, and highly skilled personnel to perform the next level of Avionics on the next level aircraft.
Our facilities consist of 80,000 square feet of hangar and office space residing on 10 acres with 39 based aircraft.
