Currently looking to hire Avionics Technicians phase maintenance and resets on CH-47s, UH-60s, and SH60s in Huntsville, Alabama.
Job Description:
- Support contract doing phase maintenance and resets on CH-47s, UH-60s, and SH60s.
- Modification, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Responsibilities include routing, running, and terminating wires.

Schedule:
- 40hrs/week (OT as needed)
- 1st Shift- 6:00am - 2:30pm

- Located in Huntsville, AL.
- Contract with potential to go direct.
- Air conditioned environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair avionics equipment such as radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems in aircraft.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on aircraft avionics systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards and company specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose avionics system malfunctions using test equipment and software diagnostics.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to install and repair avionics systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to modify and upgrade avionics systems according to technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately, including parts used and work performed, in maintenance logs and records.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with FAA and other regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance personnel and departments as needed.
- Stay updated on new avionics technologies, regulations, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and parts necessary for avionics maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
4+ years experience on Military rotary wing platforms - modification experience highly desired
Any military helicopter experience will be considered as long as you can perform avionics installations and/or troubleshooting
fixed wing experience will be considered as long as you have strong troubleshooting
MUST be able to read wiring diagrams
Crimp and Pin experience
Routing and Terminating wires
