Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob Description- We are seeking a talented and motivated Avionics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working hands-on with avionics systems, aircraft wiring harnesses, and electrical/mechanical installations.
- The Avionics Technician will work within the Avionics Engineering team to support the development, testing, and maintenance of avionics systems. The role involves performing assignments that require selecting or adapting standard procedures or equipment, using applicable precedents, and working independently with guidance from supervisors or engineers as needed.
Responsibilities- Develop avionics test benches per Engineering specifications and requirements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lab hardware.
- Assemble aircraft wiring harnesses.
- Assemble prototype hardware including circuit boards, breadboard and deadbug circuits, and PCB design for prototypes and lab hardware.
- Maintain and upkeep avionics lab including equipment organization and checkout.
- Maintain and stock electrical components for flight hardware assembly, rework, and modification.
Essential Skills- 2 or more years of relevant avionics or electrical technician experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Proficient written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with avionics installation, repair, and maintenance.
Work Environment- The Avionics Technician will work in an avionics lab environment, handling various lab hardware and equipment. The role involves standard hours with occasional requirements for flexibility depending on project needs. The work involves hands-on tasks with electrical and mechanical components, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
