Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionThe Avionics Technician will be responsible for the installation of wiring and electronic systems related to C-Checks and VIP modifications of 787-9 aircraft. This role involves completing basic wiring buildups, preparing and installing wiring kits, running wires, terminating, crimping, checking connectors, and testing with multimeters and voltmeters.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic buildup and preparation of wiring and cables from modification kits and drawings.
- Route and install wires and cabling on aircraft, ensuring proper documentation, tagging, and labeling.
- Crimp, terminate, and test wiring and cabling installations.
Essential Skills- 4+ years of avionics install and repair experience.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance and avionics wiring.
- Proficiency in running wires, terminating, crimping, and testing electrical systems.
- Knowledge of 787, 767, and 777 aircraft.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience in VIP modifications or custom interiors.
- Local candidates preferred for long-term employment.
- Military experience is acceptable.
- Eligibility for a SIDA badge (proper IDs required).
- Ownership of necessary tools.

Work Environment
The work environment includes recently renovated hangars and offices at MWH. The building is owned and operated by our clients customer who engineers the modifications. The large hangar space with two aircraft, storerooms, and inventory is operated by our client. The work schedule is either a day shift from Monday to Friday or four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday with potential overtime.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00
