We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to perform heavy maintenance on ERJ 145s and CRJ 200s. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the avionics systems of ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft according to all specifications. Your role will include documenting maintenance procedures, practicing safety-conscious behaviors, and performing daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations of aircraft. You will also be required to troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance on ERJ 145s and CRJ 200s.
• Maintain and repair the avionics systems of ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft according to all specifications.
• Document maintenance procedures, including component damage, origin, and condition.
• Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
• Perform daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repair, and alterations of aircraft.
• Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively.

• Experience in avionic troubleshooting and aircraft avionics installation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics.
• Experience with heavy maintenance on ERJ-135 and 145 aircraft.
• Military I-level experience or similar military experience.
• Experience with CRJ, Embraer, C-checks, ERJ, heavy maintenance, and jets.

• Experience in military aviation maintenance is highly desirable.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled aircraft hangar in Smyrna, TN, approximately 20 miles from Nashville. Candidates must be open to working both 1st shift (5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 12:30 AM), with schedules either from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00
