2C check lines and 2D check lines. They are 70% Veterans among leadership and technicians. There is good comradery with the team there, not clicky. There is 490 employees just in production at this location and they try and keep 30% of their staff as contractors. There’s a Jimmy Buffet vibe, fishing is very popular, everyone has a boat, camping, hunting, etc.
- Hangar 1 – They do all MRO (heavy) maintenance for United on B737 and B757.
- Hangar 2 – They take commercial passenger aircraft, gut it out and turn it into cargo aircraft so lots of heavy structural maintenance. The Aircraft are Boeing and A320/A321. They also do MRO for Frontier.
This is a 24-7 operation. They have a Monday – Friday schedule and a Friday – Monday schedule with Tues, Wed, Thurs off. They need to be open to all shifts.
- 1st Shift – 7am – 3:30pm
- 2nd Shift – 3:15pm – 11:45am
- 3rd Shift – 11:30pm – 7:30am
Avionics Technicians – Pay Rate: $29.00/hr – Bill Rate & OT Bill Rate $40.00/hr
When/If You Go Direct - If you are a license Avionics Technician when you go direct your pay is $37/hr
Weekly Per Diem Max is $800 and will be taxed at $13/hr for LICENSED POSITIONS ONLY
