STS Aviation Services is hiring Avionics Technicians to join our elite team in Melbourne, Florida. If you have 3 to 5 years of experience performing heavy overhauls and modifications on commercial aircraft, this is your opportunity to excel in a fast-paced, rewarding environment while contributing to the safety and reliability of aircraft systems.

As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex avionics systems on commercial aircraft. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to travel for AOG support when needed.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and other technical documents.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve avionics system issues efficiently and accurately.
• Perform heavy overhauls and modifications on commercial aircraft avionics systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure that all repairs meet regulatory and company standards.
• Participate in and pass a comprehensive Avionics skills assessment, including written and hands-on components.
• Travel as needed to support AOG repairs at offsite locations.

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience performing heavy overhauls and modifications on commercial aircraft.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving avionics system issues.
• Documentation Proficiency: Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and all aircraft manuals.
• Testing Requirements: Must successfully complete an Avionics skills assessment test (written and hands-on).
• Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel for AOG support as needed.
