Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Technician. You will work in a safety-sensitive position within the Power & Electrical division, which includes over 50 product lines related to Power Generation. This role involves small part electronic assembly performed at a bench. Depending on your level, you will either work on multiple product lines or start with a few.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and repair electronic aircraft components according to technical data.
• Solder electronic components and utilize various tools.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with Turn-Around-Time (TAT) requirements.
• Perform scheduled shop audits and participate in area cleaning and maintenance.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities within the shop and facility.
• Maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing or fabricating parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

• At least two years of electronic assembly experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.
• Experience in soldering.
• Proficiency in using testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

• Knowledge of project coordination, debugging, printed circuit boards, and wiring diagrams.
• Solder certification and familiarity with electronic engineering principles.

This role offers a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at a major aerospace company and gain hands-on experience with parts used in commercial airlines. There is potential for the contract to be extended or to become a direct hire. The company provides holiday benefits including Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, along with 2 weeks of PTO accrual throughout the year.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, FAA-audited facility where all tasks are performed at a bench. The typical work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The products you will handle are roughly the size of two shoe boxes.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.80/hr.
