Heli Avionic Tech

Perform inspections, repairs, service and modifications to the helicopters electrical system. Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all avionics systems that perform functions of communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic aircraft flight control systems. Service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and adjust AC and DC power generation, conversion and distribution systems, and aircraft batteries. Work overtime and travel as needed. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, service, and modifications to the helicopters electrical system.
• Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all avionics systems that perform functions of communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic aircraft flight control systems.
• Service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust AC and DC power generation, conversion and distribution systems, and aircraft batteries.
• Work overtime and travel as needed.
• Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

• 3+ years of avionics or helicopter avionics troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to aviation/aircraft.
• Ability to use and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications.
• A&P Licenses are strongly preferred.

• Current FAA Sign-Offs or A or P License.
• Experience with avionics systems, avionics installation, and avionics electrical systems.
• Skill in troubleshooting electronics, flight control systems, wiring, wire harnesses, and schematic interpretation.

FAA Part 145 Completions & Repair Facility working on AW139, A119, and A109 Aircrafts.
