Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job DescriptionPerform inspections, repairs, service, and modifications to the helicopters electrical system. Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all avionics systems that perform functions of communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic aircraft flight control systems. Service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust AC and DC power generation, conversion, and distribution systems, and aircraft batteries. Work overtime and travel as needed. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, repairs, service, and modifications to the helicopters electrical system.
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems including communications, navigation, collision avoidance, target acquisition, and automatic aircraft flight control systems.
- Service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and adjust AC and DC power generation, conversion, and distribution systems, as well as aircraft batteries.
- Work overtime and travel as needed.
- Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills- Avionics troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 3+ years of avionics experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles as applied to aviation/aircraft.
- Ability to use and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications.
- A&P Licenses are strongly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- FAA Sign-off or A or P License.
- Experience with avionics systems, avionics installation, avionics electrical, airframe powerplant license, airframe license, airframe & powerplant mechanic, flight control, wiring, wire harness, schematic, avionics electronics, aircraft avionics, and electrical systems.
- Experience with aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting.

FAA Part 145 Completions & Repair Facility working on AW139, A119, and A109 aircraft.
