- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a federal background check and DOT pre-employment drug screening
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in computer skills and data entry
- Certified Flight Communicator (CFC) certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to operate radio equipment and dispatch software (training provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of dispatching experience in emergency services, air traffic control, or healthcare settings
- Certification as an EMT, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD)
- Experience with FlightVector or similar dispatch systems
Work Environment:
- Office setting with prolonged periods of sitting and extensive computer use
- Frequent communication via phone, radio, and written documentation
- Ability to read and interpret maps and related materials
Schedule:
- Full-time position.
- Rotating 12-hour shifts. Guaranteed 8 hours of over-time each pay period
- Nights & Weekends may be required
- Opportunities for additional overtime as needed.
