As an Operations Control Agent, you will act as the focal point in a 24/7 operations between dnata airport operations DWC and external stakeholders (Dubai airports and airlines) ensuring all flight related information Radar Watch, Stand Monitoring and Flight Monitoring is handled in line with dnata standards.
In this role you will:
- Conforms to roster requirements on shift basis by ensuring staff is available as per the rostered profile. Liaises with Real Time control and provides replacements as required. Provide timely updates to the Duty management.
- Proactively follows up on time critical requests / actions in co-ordination with the duty management. Ensures requests / queries from internal / external customers pertaining to the department are efficiently acted upon in co-ordination with the duty management team where required.
- Controls the segregation and consolidation of telexes / information and airline brief sheets in a file pack for the ALS/ FLE.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
- Acts as a role model for the desired safety behaviours and wears the appropriate PPE and ensures that work is conducted in a safe manner
- Discusses safety concerns openly and reports them to the concerned supervisor
- Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job
- Monitors Radar track for each flight to update the system with short-finals / on hold status
- Identifies flights which are not scheduled based on the printed schedules data management information system (dMIS) to ensure that that dOCC are alerted
- Actions requests received on VHF frequency pertaining to ground service requirements and disseminates information accordingly
- Monitors RTC stand monitoring system to identify critical stands and providing necessary flight updates to Dubai Airports.
- Reviews and amends all information of bay/gates which are reflected in the dMIS
- Allocates and monitors remote gates to ensure that the airlines requirements are met
- Communicates last minute changes through the integrated voice response to the concerned stakeholders
- Monitors all telexes received, actions them correctly and informs concerned stakeholder
- Ensures relevant messages are generated and dispatched and that flight files are complied, documents verified and files closed
- Reviews and amends LDM and CPM messages to ensure accuracy of operational the Airport Activity Control Systems
- Coordinates and communicates with all stakeholders to ensure all resources are equipped and read to conduct the required activities
- Implements the EK tow plan and ensures on-time performance (OTP) of EK tows
- Minimizes and controls tow delays through active co-ordination with relevant dnata teams
