Additive Process Engineer

Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities

• Execute assigned technology maturation projects.

• Execute CAD2CAM steps towards the successful completion of the Additive build.

• Lead the post-processing activities to obtain a final component per drawing requirements.

• According with all the lesson learnt provide feedback to improve/align current DPs and methods.

• Participate as a presenter in technical and project reviews.

• Remain current in the state of the art within own technical specialty for new products introduction activity, performance improvements, cost reductions and problem resolutions.

• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures

• Support the requested External funding bid and proposal initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in mechanical/aeronautical Engineering from an accredited University

• Basic knowledge in manufacturing technologies for aerospace applications, including Heat Treatment and Inspections

• Knowledge of key aeronautical engines layout, architecture and mechanical systems arrangements

• Fluency in English language, both written and oral

• The ability to work under pressure with other team members

• Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required

• Ability to produce clear, concise reports and other documentation, of appropriate quality

• Solid oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Passionate, curious and enthusiastic for engineering challenges
