Advanced Engineering Technician

Contract Position

$27.96-$32.96/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Support engineering activities by designing, testing, fabricating, and assembling prototype electromechanical systems and specialized test equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to construct, troubleshoot, and calibrate tools and systems.
• Conduct and document statistically-based experiments to define process parameters and recommend process improvements.
• Develop and implement solutions for complex process enhancements, ensuring proper documentation.
• Design and fabricate tooling and fixtures to address unique tasks.
• Analyze and interpret data to identify cause-effect relationships and propose resolutions or optimizations.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.

• Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in engineering support or hardware fabrication.

• Skills and Expertise:

  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering diagrams, schematics, and drawings.
  • Expertise in using fabrication tools and troubleshooting complex hardware systems.
  • Solid understanding of technical theories and their practical applications.
