Network Design Engineer

$58.13-$63.13/Hour
Network Design Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space & Defense company. In this job you will design and plan network systems, as well as provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. You’ll deliver specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Using your extensive network knowledge, you’ll coordinate third party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoot problems with department users and department network administrators. We’ll rely on you to maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Design and plan network systems, as well as provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
- Deliver specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
- Use your extensive network knowledge, coordinate third party maintenance for network equipment and troubleshoot problems with department users and network administrators.
- Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways, etc.
- Perform technical analysis in data network planning, engineering, and design
- Provide analysis for implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to network problems
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Develop and provide innovative and creative solutions to a variety of difficult problems of considerable scope and complexity, using established precedent and policies
- Experienced professional with a wide range of professional experience and a strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Capabile of performing technical analysis in data network planning, engineering, and design
- Proactively provides analysis for implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to network problems
