Advanced Systems Engineer

Contract Position

$48.50-$53.50/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Develop and test embedded systems, products, and services that enhance mission capabilities and national security.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related field in Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, with 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.

  Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience leading the systems development lifecycle, with proficiency in requirements management and system modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and processes.
  • Experience applying technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks independently and within a team.
  • Experience clearly conveying concepts through written and verbal communication.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and apply new technical concepts.
  • Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring within engineering teams.
