Advanced Systems Engineer

$62.36-$67.36/Hour
Advanced Systems Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services top Space and Defense company. In this cleared, hybrid job you will be a member of the MUOS team, under our Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems (SC&I) line of business, assisting in the management and operation of the orbiting satellites through the deployment of the MUOS ground system responsible for defining, developing and sustaining enhancements to a live communication system.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the systems development life cycle with requirements management and system modeling tools
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions
- Collaborate with team to provide technical leadership and position others for success
- Present, communicate, negotiate and meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions
- Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation’s security
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or STEM and 5+ years of experience, or a Masters degree and 3+ years of experience
- Systems engineer experience with a strong software background on a complex software system
- Experience on large solution programs which includes both Hardware and Software
- Understands DOD domain/programs well, has a demonstrated capability to think at a Systems Level
- Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)
- 3 days on site, 2 days remote or 100 on site
