In this role, design engineer will be part of the Advanced Mechanical Design team and will own the design of stator hardware of the product and tech maturation rigs. Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute the hardware ownership through design, analysis, and manufacturing support using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
- Have high levels of interaction with and exposure to engineers from multiple disciplines, manufacturing & quality, and regularly exposed to commodity and experts
- Lead technical projects with moderate to high levels of complexity through collaboration
- Use engineering judgement and experience to challenge entrenched processes and methodology to recommend improvements.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of engineering & manufacturing, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute on technically complex projects to meet technical requirements and business goals with minimal technical oversight.
- Foster and inspire a collaborative work style and display team-oriented behavior with proactive communication internally and externally
- Provide technical guidance & mentor engineers in team
- Leverage digital tools & analyse the data insights to drive appropriate actions
Qualifications/Requirements
- PhD/MTech /MS/BTech/BE in Mechanical/Aerospace
- 7+ years of relevant experience on Mechanical design/hardware ownership/ Finite element analysis of structure mechanical parts preferably in aircraft engine/gas turbine domain.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical design fundamentals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Established project management skills

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
