Job Description:

Tasks

The Aircraft Engineer is responsible to:

  • Provide technical and economic evaluations for the recommendations from the aircraft manufacturer (SB, SL, AOT, etc.) and the aviation authorities (AD) to determine implementation and create associated work instructions
  • Analyze technical fleet complaints in order to develop and implement measures to continuously improve aircraft reliability
  • Participate in Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) amendment and analysis the effectiveness of AMP
  • Investigate individual technical complaints and faults, determine corrective measures and approve deviations
  • Plan technical measures on aircraft, create the associated work instructions and coordinate implementation
  • Perform EASA Part-21J Design Engineer (DE) activities
  • Prepare the necessary reports
  • Support other engineering tasks

Requirements

  • University degree in aeronautical, mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Previous CAMO experience or experience as licensed maintenance mechanic (EASA Part 66 CAT B1.1 or B2) will be an advantage
  • Have a Part-21J Design Engineer (DE) certificate or willingness to obtain it
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Very good PC skills of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and quality
  • High sense of responsibility and strong personal initiative
  • Can work effectively under pressure, multi-task and prioritise
  • Well organized and able to work independently
  • Have good negotiation and persuasion skills, as well as assertiveness
  • Able to work in multi-site and multi-cutural teams
  • Communicative and team player
  • Able to keep calm under pressure
  • Customer orientated
  • Open to business trips abroad
