We are seeking a Manufacturing Assembler B to join our team at our facility in Smithfield, PA. The successful candidate will support various assembly operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using manual operations.
• Support continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology.
• Travel to other facilities as required.
• Work onsite at the specified location.

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• 1 year of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics.
• 1 year of experience working with precision measuring tools.
• 1 year of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards.
• 1 year of experience with machine shop processes.
• High School Diploma/GED.

• Understanding of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations.
• Ability to differentiate production manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements.
• Experience in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes.
• Commitment to team mission and motivation to combine team energy and expertise to achieve common objectives.
• Understanding of effective teamwork dynamics to attain higher levels of performance.
• Ability to work as a member of a team and knowledge of the properties of metal and other common materials.
• Complete knowledge of shop processes including Foreign Object Damage/Debris prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge.

We provide a 401k match up to 8 and offer flextime to make up hours. Approximately 90 of contractors are hired into full-time positions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
