Join our Global Real Estate and Facilities Engineering and Technology (E&T) team as an Associate Facilities Electrical Engineer in Health, Ohio. This is not your average engineering role - it’s an opportunity to be part of an outstanding facilities operation, learn new skills and become a vital member of a dynamic team.

As an Associate Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will have the chance to guide equipment repairs through hands-on work. You’ll be at the forefront of supporting and planning construction projects by defining requirements and overseeing successful execution. Additionally, you’ll play a role in identifying opportunities to enhance our site’s electrical infrastructure.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides input to infrastructure planning, completes studies, and analyzes current conditions and future requirements

  • Recommends capital improvements and gathers and analyzes data to identify and access alternatives and impacts

  • Assists in electrical designs with customer requirements, building codes, and applicable regulations

  • Assists in integrating activities of multiple engineering disciplines, outside consultants, and government agencies

  • Develops routine conceptual designs, final designs, and cost estimates for electrical phases of buildings, equipment installation, utility systems, and grounds

  • Analyzes to determine cause of asset failures and reduction in asset capacity using reliability tools and methods

  • Ensures accuracy of drawing archives/libraries

  • Translates customer requirements into design options; identifies appropriate materials, equipment, and services

  • Estimates resources costs/requirements, identifies materials, equipment, and services, & develops preliminary project schedules to establish project scope

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

                                                                                                                                         

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering

  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting technical documents and/or drawings

  • 1+ years of experience with facility maintenance in an engineering role/or management role

  • 1+ years of experience working in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with building and safety codes

  • 3+ years of experience with Lean processes and initiatives

  • 3+ years of experience leading construction projects

  • Experience working in a production environment

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $78,200 – $105,800
