Roles and Responsibilities
Support process / product engineers across forming processes and all products (Military Programs, RISE, Production Hardware key initiatives).
Drive APQP, NPI and MOC Activities in support of new and existing programs
Serve as focal point to/from all technical & business entities related to team objectives.
Responsible for continuous management & ownership of assigned scope, including management of change process, equipment needs, component industrialization, structured problem solving.
Accountable for driving special projects to ensure effective industrialization to meet yield and cost targets.
Responsible for strategy & vision of Development Lab processes and new product introduction leveraging to the High-Volume Production shops.
Work boundlessly within the organization.
Mentor engineers assigned to your team.
Work both autonomously as well as collaboratively in identifying needs, proactive support to manufacturing teams in enhancing production cost, cycle, yield.
Articulate progression of projects and/or programs to all facets of the business, including technicians, process engineers, site leadership & executive business leaders, ensuring efforts support business goals & objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned/as needed to support the Composites IPT.
Work to ensure consistent and timely communication occur on shop floor concerns as well as project updates and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience in manufacturing experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience
