The University and Outreach Programs Team is seeking a Campus Manager Lead – Engineering Engagements to oversee and manage a team of Engineering Campus Managers. This role is focused on building strategic relationships with universities, driving student engagements, and creating a strong pipeline of talent into the business. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who is passionate about education, highly organized, and has exceptional communication and writing skills. The Campus Manager Lead will play a critical role in developing strategies to connect students with our business, foster long-term partnerships with academic institutions, and ensure the effective operation of the campus program.
This is a Hybrid role.
What You Will Do
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Engineering Campus Managers to ensure effective support for university partnerships and student engagement
- Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen relationships with universities, increase student participation, and build a strong pipeline of talent
- Collaborate with university faculty, career centers, and student organizations to promote our company’s educational programs, internships, and career opportunities
- Oversee the planning and execution of campus events, workshops, and other student-focused initiatives
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the campus management program, ensuring effective communication, organization, and documentation
- Design and maintain SharePoint sites for information sharing, project management, and collaboration among campus managers and other stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze the performance of campus programs, making data-driven decisions to enhance engagement and outcomes
- Generate metrics, reports and communications related to the campus management program
- Stay up to date on trends in higher education, talent acquisition, and workforce development, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Up to 20 travel
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior experience
- Experience building relationships with campus programs, university partnerships, or talent acquisition initiatives
- Experience in strategic planning and team management
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Passion for education, student engagement, and building pathways for underrepresented talent into the business
- Proficiency in SharePoint design and management, with the ability to create and maintain effective collaboration platforms
- Experience in the engineering or technology sector
- Familiarity with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in education and corporate environments

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
