What You Will Do
- Manage Shared Services team in charge of centralized Plasma Spray, Brazing and Laser processes
- Achieve the operational targets such as eTAT (Turnaround Time), OTD (On-Time Delivery), HPP (Hour Per Piece), productivity, utilization, reduce overtime, absentee control and skills matrix.
- Execute Smart Factory implementation and drive transformation & enhancement in the cell.
- Allocate manpower & resources, including overtime management and Indirect/Direct Charge to maximize productivity.
- Manage and report the production outputs and sales targets.
- Provide effective communication across the cells, leadership development and performance feedback to the shop floor employees.
- Review staffing and training needed including performance, salary, and career appraisal as well as hiring, retaining and developing new talent.
- Interface with other departments such as Engineering, Quality, Finance, Customer Service, HR & Materials to achieve cell goals & company objectives.
- Standardize operational metrics, reporting and monitoring performance.
- Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
- Lead productivity and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) projects to reduce cost, improve quality and cycle time.
- Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
- Require to be deployed on shifts to support operations on need basis.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Min 3 years experience in production, operations or manufacturing with supervisory role.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Senior/Lead Technician with leadership experience or Engineer with interest to explore an operations supervisory role are welcome.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams on 3 shifts to achieve business goals
- Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
- Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience working with system in SAP is a plus.
- Relevant experience in Aerospace, manufacturing or MRO is a plus.
