Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related fields of study.
- 10 (ten) years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, which includes experience managing New Product / Process introduction (industrialization) & existing production process improvements
- Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000
- Working knowledge of LEAN processes and practices.
- Fluent in English language, both written and spoken.
- Prepared to travel domestically and occasionally internationally; Expected travel <20% of year.
- US Person per US DOD & ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project / Program Management Professional Qualification.
- Familiarity with AS9145 APQP process or equivalent.
- Has experience with NPI (New Product Introduction), a start-up facility, and/or a work transfer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Manufacturing Engineering in aerospace.
- Ability to influence people, build trust and establish effective working relationships within a global organization.
- Sets challenging goals by identifying possible ways to improve performance.
- Understands situations by analyzing them logically and uses information in a systematic way identifying appropriate course of action for resolution. Fully appreciative of the limits of their experience.
Compensation Data
Compensation Range: $141,093.00 - $176,366.00
