Essential Responsibilities:
Development and support of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities for new and updated processes.
Fast paced, hands on, highly diversified role with the ability to flex in and outside traditional engineering scope to support business needs.
This role will provide exposure to cost estimating, process development, product development, direct customer contact and daily operational support
Work closely with repair and product engineers to develop solutions for tube and duct externals hardware.
Support products from CF6 to LEAP engine platforms and most commercial platform between. Leverage practices from similar product as well as develop new techniques
Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills. Provides informal guidance to new team members and vendors
Role will require Special Process Ownership of 1 process within
Support global projects with cross functional teams and owners.
