Job Description SummaryAt Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.
In this role you will be the main Product Quality point of contact for an external European Customer cluster. You will have to know and understand the Customers contracts and requirements and what drives impact for the Customers.
In such role you will also operate as operational support to make sure Customer’s quality requirements are flowed down and understood within the CoEs.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Guarantee Customer satisfaction through contracts knowledge and application
Knowledge and application of the RTV process, robust RCCA deployment
Being Customers main point of contact for Quality escapes or other information needed to support Customer’s operations
Update Customers in a timely fashion regarding the status of quality issues or any requests
Address customer issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction
Coordinate with Plant Quality Leaders to discuss and resolve product quality issues raised by customers
Participate in product quality planning and control process based on customer’s specifications and requirements
Inform product quality management team regarding customer feedback and expectations on product’s quality
Prepare and update all necessary quality reports as required by customers
Support Customer audits and work with Quality System to improve QMS based on audit results
Qualification/Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university
Experienced, with a background in Quality and/or Manufacturing
Ability to communicate clearly and well with external Customers and internally in the Organization
Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and related norms and specifications
Fluent Italian and English, both written and oral
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
