Description:The Cyber Systems Security Engineer Stf will be responsible for the integration, test, and deployment of hardware and software, and embedded systems. This includes SIL network planning, software integration support, virtual machine creation and management, rack hardware design and installation, SIL test procedure development, verification, and validation of system functionality.

He will be involved in solving complex problems associated with both the hardware and software systems. Work will also include modification, and maintenance of system drawings (SIL network architecture, layout, cable drawings, rack drawings).

• Perform and manage system integration, test and troubleshooting of various hardware/software configurations
• Installing, and managing of equipment in server racks and updating of the Lab(s) inventory
• Integrate hardware equipment for the Systems Integration Labs (SIL)
• Establish Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL)/Closed-Loop development and testing in the Systems Integration Lab (SIL)
• Product integration, regression, and verification testing including checkout in system test labs.
• Participate in technical exchange meetings, interface with customers (internal/external) and contributing to a broad range of program deliverables.
• Integrating hardware from sub-system teams, interface with other elements, and the system and segment level teams
• Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications
• Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
• Ability to travel as required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or related field, or relevant experience
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certificate such as CompTIA Security+, CySA, CCNA Security, SSCP or GSEC
• Experience with networking technologies.
• Experience with virtualized environments.
• Experience with Windows Server.
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools
• Familiarity with storage solutions and servers
Desired Skills:
• Experience with networking technologies such as IGMP/multicast, OSPF, EIGRP, SNMP
• Experience with virtualized environments using VMware vSphere or Docker
• Experience with Windows Server (2016-2022), Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark/NPcap, Nmap, Cisco SPAN
• Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment, Dell/HP storage solutions and servers
• Familiarity with embedded systems such as ASIC or FPGA based computing

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $114,100 - $218,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Pay Rate:
