Cyber Test Engineer
CODEX is seeking a cyber test engineer for a high-visibility CNO development team. In this role, you will make a direct positive impact on the customer’s needs and mission. You will be accountable for verifying the consistency and quality of our products and be actively involved throughout the entire development process. You will engage with internal and customer stakeholders to derive system requirements and react to mission needs. You will develop a deep understanding of the tools, systems, and frameworks used by the customer, and how to effectively integrate them with various technologies to build a real-world test environment and create a test plan. You will utilize your technical skills to build and maintain custom test frameworks and generate thorough documentation. Competitive candidates have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and are mission focused. A technical background in networking and familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI Clearance required
- 1 years test engineering or related experience
- 1 year of experience developing in Python, Bash, or similar scripting language
- 1 year of experience working on Linux/Unix systems
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (such as DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Routing, VPN)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interface with customers, end-users, technical leads, and program management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building test automation frameworks
- Experience designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test plans, procedures, reports, and other technical documentation
- Familiarity with Agile mindset and methodologies
- Ability to think abstractly and drive toward defined requirements and testing strategies
- Experience using virtualization technologies such as Docker

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
