Join Collins Aerospace as a Product Cybersecurity Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for protecting the deliverable airborne control systems products through the performance of security risk analysis and inclusion of required cybersecurity functions as well as performing security testing and supporting certification activities and compliance to industry standards. You will also work closely with the product development teams to support software and electronics program development and support activities throughout the product development lifecycle. This will include working with the organization to embrace Product Security and ensure readiness for future program requirements while receiving mentorship from the wider program teams.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
What YOU will do:
- Develop cybersecurity processes to meet internal and industry requirements
- Security risk assessments
- Define and apply security analysis/test tools and methods
- Support response to cybersecurity incidents
- Development and integration support for advancement product cybersecurity technologies in embedded control systems
- General Electronic systems and software knowledge

Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 2 years prior relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in systems and software engineering principles focused on embedded control systems.
- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.).
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues.
- Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, SVN, Bit Bucket, Artifactory).
- Experience with one or more of the following tools (E.g. GitLab, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Direct experience with Agile methodologies.
- General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization.
