Job Description:
12 month contract
Pay Range: $55-65
System Design and Architectural Development.
Seeking a Design Requirements Engineer to be responsible for the generation, and verification of legacy and new system and subsystem level requirements.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Interest in and ability to stretch and support Integration and Test activities.
Responsibilities include performing requirements analysis, establishing requirements traceability/flow down, preparing specifications, and managing requirements.
Responsibilities also include interfacing with customers, suppliers, and IPT leads, and making and presenting PowerPoint presentations.
Required Experience/Skills:
Candidates with a BS degree must have at least 5 years of experience with the below.
Candidates with a MS degree must have at least 3 years of experience with the below.
- Written and verbal Communications skills are essential.
- Requirements definition, DOORS, and MSOffice suite experience are required.
- Experience owning the design and development process throughout the systems engineering lifecycle, including identifying stakeholder needs, high and low level system architecting (utilizing MBSE through Cameo) and requirements definition (SRS, DRS).
- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Requirements Definition assignments: Flow system level requirements to testable structures and modular hardware and software using DOORS and CAMEO.
- Perform detail system verification activities including definition of verification methodology.
