Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Pay Rate: $57.21 - $71.62 per hour
Innovate. Engineer. Elevate.PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Wire Design & Install Engineer to join our team in Tukwila, WA. In this critical role, you will contribute to the development of advanced aerospace systems by designing and maintaining complex electrical installations. Your expertise will drive innovation in aviation technology, ensuring precision, reliability, and efficiency in wire harness and electrical component design.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs for aerospace applications.
- Conduct design analysis and reviews, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Create and refine electrical product designs, including equipment racks, power panels, antennas, and cable routing.
- Provide engineering solutions for discrepancies, including rejection tags and production action requests.
- Document processes, specifications, and procedures to support manufacturing and design efficiency.
- Assist in the development of statements of work and participate in supplier capability reviews.
- Analyze functional and physical requirements to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Work under general direction, collaborating within a team to meet project goals and deadlines.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in wire design and electrical installation engineering.
- Proficiency in wire installation design tools, such as CATIA V5, ENOVIA, IVT, WIRS, or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with requirements management software like DOORS.
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Model-Based Engineering principles.
- Background in aircraft or avionics development programs.

Pay Details: $57.21 to $71.62 per hour
