TASK DESCRIPTION:
The Engine Noise Suppression Facility Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at the engine run facility at AAJB in Kuwait. Reports directly to the I-Level Power Plants Lead.
TASK REQUIREMENTS:
- Establish Scheduled maintenance cycle for the Engine Noise Suppression Facility in accordance with the KAMP.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the facility as required
- Perform replacement on diagnosed faulty electrical elements of machine including motors, relays, switches, fire control panels and facility fuel systems
- Perform diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units
- Perform diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic and fuel system components
- Assist the Engine Noise Suppression Facility (Hush House) Operator/Maintainer in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues with the Engine Noise Suppression Facility
- Record all Maintenance actions on the Engine Noise Suppression Facility in GOLD ESP
- Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling maintenance
- Assist the Engine Noise Suppression Facility Subcontractor with Annual inspections and unscheduled maintenance as required
MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Facilities Electrician is required
- Journeyman Electrician or higher or Military equivalent
- Have a minimum of five (5)years of outstanding troubleshooting and technical aptitude
- Ability to read and troubleshoot systems via schematic and electrical, diagrams/illustrations
- Knowledge of electrical hangar doors and louvers is highly desired
- No security clearance required
