In the Project Engineering Career Path, you will build your technical knowledge through rotations over a 2-year period. You will have the opportunity to work within some of the following areas:
- Project Engineering: Green Aircraft
- Project Engineering: Completion Aircraft
- Program Management: Green Aircraft or Completion Aircraft
- Sales Engineering or other service as per candidate interest
- Operation Support or other service as per candidate interest
What are your contributions to the team?
- Integrate cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule, and budget of projects
- Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project portfolio
- Lead and coordinate Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders
- Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence of projects scope, schedule, and budget
- Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution
- Present project schedules, business cases and updates at regular reviews with senior management
- Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress, prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required;
- Simplify technical concepts and prepare analyses to make effective arguments
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You have less than 2 years of post-graduation work experience
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or other related field)—completed in 2023 or will be completed by May 2025
- You have a passion and unrelenting desire to learn about aviation
- You have an innovative mindset and are eager to take on new challenges
- You are a collaborative team player who strives for success
- You are motivated and able to adapt in fast-paced environments
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- You have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, MS Project is an asset
- You are eligible to work in Canada
- Previous internship in the aviation industry is an asset
