Essential Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Strother Propulsion engineers, NDT Level III, and Engine Configuration. Guide daily activities, shop support, and provide customer service support related to engine performance.
Member of the plant leadership team, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Cash and Culture. Provide technical advice and counsel to site Leadership.
Work in collaboration with engine hardware owners to develop repairs and manual limit changes.
Accountable for the engineering team expense budget.
Site Plant & Equipment Capital Expenditure focal.
Responsible for technical talent development, attraction, and retention.
Mentor and lead others to find creative solutions within complex technical processes.
Interprets internal and external business challenges then recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work.
Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of engineering, product management, manufacturing, technology or operations.
Ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
Utilizes industry standards to improve product, processes, and services.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college + 5 years Aviation Engines engineering experience
Prior experience as a people leader; demonstrated ability to lead teams in a complex environment.
