Description:We are Lockheed Martin

As the Staff Environmental Engineer (Level 4) in Fort Worth, TX, you will develop, administer, and implement environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements. In this role, you will interact with federal, state, and local regulators to resolve compliance issues; establish permit requirements, and assist in federal, state, and local regulatory audits.

Additionally, you will:

• Be responsible for the ISO 14001 Program

• Lead and/or support a variety of environmental programs related to RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, and other government programs at the local, state, and federal level.

• Assist with remediation, environmental reporting, and Go Green implementation.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in STEM (Science Major preferred)
• Technical background or equivalent experience in one or more of the critical skills: environmental program management, environmental reporting, environmental audits.
• Ability to project and program manage multiple simultaneous initiatives and efforts.
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Stormwater permitting (NPDES, MS4), Air Permitting (NSPS, NESHAP, TCEQ NSR), Waste Management, SPCC, DOT Compliance (Dangerous Goods), Explosives Safety Management (HERO), and Emergency Management/Preparedness.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility with special access.
Desired Skills:
• At least 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing level environmental department
• Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001.
• Understanding of union environments and collective bargaining agreements.
• Ability to make difficult decisions, solve complex issues and influence ESH cultural improvement.
• Certified 14001:2015 Lead Auditor.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
